mLabs
Our Labs are dedicated spaces that provide a range of services to entrepreneurs, innovators, makers, developers and digital creatives through our different programmes. We also host a number of partner events, workshops and trainings within our labs and technology partners can select to run mLab facilitated activities or simply work with our events team to assist with setup and arrangements.
mLab Northern Cape is a proud partnership between mLab, the Northern Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism, , Sol Plaatje Municipality, Northern Cape Community Education College, and The Department of Science and Technology.

Our Facilities
We make our venues available to different institutions that host events that are aimed at empowering youth with digital skills or entrepreneurial development. Our venues are free for anyone to book provided that the participants do not have to pay to attend the events.
Please use the booking form to book one of our venues. Only approved and completed bookings will be granted access to use the space. Availability is subject to scheduling of other activities, including maintenance.

Who can join the society?
- Open to all Business, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Data Science and Computer Science Students in the University.
- The student must have an interest in the tech space and have an understanding of digital economy.
- Student who will be able to attend club events.
What are the benefits for the students?
- Students will have an opportunity to interact with the ecosystem and get a glimpse of what awaits them.
