Visceral Podcast, http://www.visceralpodcast.co.za, is a podcast aimed at promoting women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, in Africa.

Visceral Podcast is changing the narrative about women in STEM. We broadcast our message through thought-provoking podcasts, engaging news on STEM, and intelligent profiles highlighting accomplishments of women in the STEM disciplines.

We use the potential of social media by creating engaging content and establishing a link to young, aspiring scientists to radically change women’s perceptions about the STEM disciplines. Our goal is to show that the sciences are accessible and interesting through stories inspired by African. Women. Scientists.
Season two kicks off with a series of interviews from the African Summit on Women and Girls in Technology. Visceral Podcast host, Michelle Roseborough believes, the second season explore a diverse range of STEM disciplines from Africa’s leading women in STEM. “Listeners can look forward to never before explored topics ranging from prosecuting rhino poachers using DNA to retraining our brains. There are a number of surprises and incredible guests this season!” says Michelle.
